Cashmere foulard

An accessory made of the finest yarns, created by master artisans of the Como textile district. The printed patterns draw their inspiration from the details of an extraordinary series of Flemish tapestries and their wool, gold, and silver threads. Probably made in Brussels between 1550 and 1565, they are now preserved at the Borromeo Palace on Isola Bella. What makes them special is their natural representations, botanical precision, and the masterful way they are depicted, with detailed flowers and leaves and wild or mythical animals. To maintain the very highest quality of a work of art, the prints on the foulards are created using the most advanced technology available, which guarantees a top level product completely made in Italy, all the way down to the edging.
